THE PROJECT
CONTEXT
VOLTAB was developed to rethink portable energy, replacing traditional fuel generators with a compact, electric alternative. The goal was to deliver high power in a lightweight, silent, and sustainable product designed for mobility and off-grid use.
ROLE
Granstudio contributed from early ideation to final visualization, exploring form factors for in-vehicle storage, defining the product design, and developing CAS, renders, and animations to support communication and launch.

VOLTAB introduces a new logic where power becomes mobile, silent, and integrated into everyday use, from professional work to outdoor and off-grid scenarios.

APPROACH
SENSE
We explored use cases across mobility, work, and outdoor scenarios, identifying the need for a compact, transportable solution that fits naturally within vehicles and everyday environments.
SHAPE
Design development focused on a clean, robust architecture, combining ergonomic handling, integrated wheels, and a compact form factor inspired by automotive principles.
MAKE
CAS development, renders, and animations translated the concept into a clear and compelling product, supporting both design validation and market communication.

VOLTAB emerges as a compact, high-performance power generator delivering over 4.2 kW in a lightweight format. Silent, emission-free, and built with recycled materials, it enables energy access in a wide range of contexts.
